Just a quick thought to get started. I never understood the purpose of blogs - why do people put their diaries online, and why do people read them? - until I found another blog I really liked reading and then the blogger just disappered. And I missed her even though I didn't know her, and I realized that blogs can fill a void that can't be filled any other way. A lot of people have been talking about the anonymity of the internet, how it's killing real dialogue. But here I hope it can open up real connections with people I would otherwise have no access to.
More about our church later - suffice it to say, I'd never choose to go here if the choice were up to me. But here I am, I know God wants us here, and I can't tell anyone in my daily life what I really think about our church (at least all at once). But I can post here, and my hope is it will be a holy place where God is honored rather than just a crabfest. We'll see. I have two small children so my time will be limited. :)
